	Do you think it would be possible to break with the tradition
of analyzing computer chess games as though they were human, i.e. where
you can't look into their heads?  Could you persuade Slate and Atkins
to provide reasonably complete traces of what the machine was thinking
about at the critical points of the game with Levy and combine your
traditional chess player's analysis with your computer scientist's analysis
of where the machine misused its computational resources?
It would be good if Slate and Atkins could be persuaded to rerun
critical decisions, conceivably even with other parameters.  Publishing
such an analysis in the SIGART Newsletter would
increase interest in better chess programs.
